Bacon's Pen - Limited Series (Philosophy & Philosophers)

Sir Francis Bacon is known for many contributions in science, history, poetry, and as a statesman. Writing many nonfiction books, Bacon's inductive reasoning and personal philosophy lead him to being attributed with (regardless of the popular notion that it was the playwright, Mr. Bulwer-Lytton) a saying we are very familiar with, "The Pen is Mightier than the Sword". 

Taking that notion, this piece is an artistic take on just that. Made with 11 gauge cold-rolled steel, this custom show stopper is sure to be the center of conversation. Physically formed with heat, strength, and understanding, this is truly something no have seen.

At the bottom of the golden powder coated ink quill pen is a specially formed glass "ink drop" filled with real black ink. The blood red powder coated sword negative has, at its tip, another glass "blood drop" filled with, well, blood. Preserved in and coated with rubbing alcohol, the dark meets the truth.

At 66 inches tall, and weighing at over 49 pounds, the curved edges and solid backing give depth to this impressive innovation!
